Knox Bennett is a 2022 1B/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Blackshear, GA who attends Pierce County. Large frame with a physical presence. Stocky build with broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.02 second sixty yard dash. Primary First-Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he did a nice job of keeping it in front of him. Confident in the glove as he scooped baseballs with ease. Footwork is fundamentally strong and has a live arm to compliment the actions. Threw it 88 mph across the infield during drills. Feel for the position showing and fits the corner infield profile well. Right-Handed Hitter, sitting down in his stance as the hands sink upon separation. Short, simple cuts as he finds the barrel consistently. Proved he could impact the baseball and drive it deep to the pull-side. Very strong hands as he got the bat head through the zone with authority. Was also aggressive on the base paths with great reads. Outstanding Student.
