Bradley Benton is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Avon Park, FL who attends Avon Park. A medium frame with strength and some athleticism. Had some length to the lower half. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop who worked out at the position with good snatch to the backhand and smoothness to the glove and transfer. Funnels well with the arm to pair on throws across the diamond. Threw 88 mph across the diamond and worked from a lower slot. Projectable actions as an infielder. Was smooth with the glove at third base during games as well, firm across, and had a good glove on tags for attempted stolen bases. A right-handed hitter with a wider base, aggressive leg lift trigger, and good whip to the hands working through the zone. Was able to get to the ball out front and lift the ball. Was able to drive the ball during BP out front, extending and driving it. Also hit in-game collecting a base knock as well. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working out of the wind-up. Operated from a high three-quarters arm slot with a shorter arm action. Uses a leg lift up around the letters before making his move down the slope. The fastball was 82-84 mph with life to it, spinning up to 2,156 RPMs. Showed a slurvy breaking ball around 70 mph with spin above 2,200 RPMs. Also flashed the occasional changeup at 65 mph, killing spin down to 1,376 RPMs. Good student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East showcase TP List.
