2023 Florida Workout Showcase (Friday)
Julian Sanchez is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Cooper City, FL who attends Somerset Academy. A bigger kid with a bigger build and some strength present. Ran an 8.03 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman who fielded the ball with two hands, adjusting to one-handed fielding as needed. Good glovework and clean feeds with throws at 79 mph on a good flight. Had a clue for his actions around the bag as well. A left-handed hitter with open feet and a super deep load. Uses a big hanging leg lift trigger with an inward move to close up. Hard and aggressive turns through contact. Lifted a couple of balls back up the middle and had a few nice pokes pull-side as well during his round of BP.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
