Stone Criste is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney Boyd. Big build for a freshman with lots of future strength potential. Slow paced delivery with good direction to the plate, loose arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Consistently low 70's fastball, mostly straight with some sink down in the zone, commanded his fastball well and was aggressive attacking hitters. Also threw a curveball that flashed some tightness. Right handed hitter, big stride and leg kick into his swing will create timing inconsistency, has some strength in his swing when he's on time and squared up. Primary first baseman on defense.
