Joshua Garcia is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Panorama City, CA who attends St. Genevieve. Medium frame with some strength to the build but remaining room to fill out. Ran a 7.47 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, shows sound mechanics with fluidity in the lower half, uses a short and compact arm action with limited extension to work around the zone with a solely fastball mix in the low-70s. Also worked out in the outfield, has quick steps and a sound approach to the ball, fields cleanly on the front foot and carries momentum through with a compact arm action through an over the top slot. Left-handed hitter, sets up spread and slightly open, shifts in well to contact, swing hards and creates some jump off the barrel to the pull side. Good student.
