Logan Howard is a 2024 C/RHP/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Gov John Rogers. Medium size physical al frame. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. A catcher that starts with one knee down, very quick pop with efficient athletic movements gaining ground to throw. Recorded the top pop time at the event with a 1.83. And showed above average arm strength with accuracy to the bag. Impressive skill set behind the plate. Hit from an open stance with leg lift timing. Creates some hand separation in the load and takes a direct path to the baseball with a linear bat path through the zone. Some rotational swings with feel for the barrel. Worked to the opposite field in his round with multiple line drives that way. Impressive defensive catcher with the ability to handle the bat some. Up to 83 on the mound with the fastball with two distinct breaking balls out of a high three-quarter slot. Curve showed sharp 12-6 break as an out pitch. Intriguing ability on the mound as well. Very good student. Named to Northwest Prospect Top Prospect List.
