Tavion Johnson is a 2024 3B/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends Parkway North. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a sturdy and compact build. Primary third baseman with an aggressive approach, does not wait back on the ball, attacks with urgency. Stiff and segmented actions at present, will improve and be able to finish plays off more effectively as he smooths out his actions and softens the hands. Restricted arm stroke with a high release, has some quickness in the feet. Secondary outfielder with a more passive approach and longer arm stroke that gets offline through the back. Shows good footwork to the ball and fields it out front, utilizes a short crow hop into the throw. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
