Joe Zito is a 2024 3B/C/2B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Howell, NJ who attends Howell. Recorded a 5.31 second forty-yard dash time. Small, compact frame with plenty of room and time to fill out. Primary infielder with athletic actions throughout the fielding process; displays quick feet and good lateral range to either side and showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles when necessary. Recorded developing arm strength up to 68 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a high, tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates hanging leg lift for timing and implores rotational lower half mechanics to get the swing going. Repeatable stroke with line drive swing plane, compact bat speed and some strength at impact. Showed consistent middle-of-the field impact with ability to create leverage and carry. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
