2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Nolan Phillips is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Palmer Ridge. Lean, projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary SS who showed smooth and fluid actions when approaching grounders. His throws across the infield topped out at 84 mph but his arm plays up from the pure strength due to his quick release. At the plate he showcased quick hands and advanced bat speed. Had a flat bat path through the zone with an all-fields approach. On the mound he throws from an overhand arm slot. His FB sat 79-86 mph and had some running action to it. His CB is a short 12/6 breaker that had plenty of bite to it. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
