Persian Austin is a 2024 1B/3B, OF, UT with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Rogers Heritage. Solid physical frame with strength. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. First baseman with fundamental footwork, works ground up with the glove, moves around the bag ok and makes throws around the diamond with some accuracy. Physical right-handed hitter with definite strength in the swing to impact the baseball. Hit from an even base with load stride timing, direct hand path the the ball, some in sync swings when not drifting to the front side and big impact off the barrel when he gets to it driving the baseball gap to gap. Very good student.
