Caden Scott is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Princeton, NC who attends Wayne Country Day. Tall projectable build. In the infield, he tends to wait back to reception, glove secures cleanly and works into a methodical transfer and clean release. Being a primary third baseman fits his attributes with the leather, arm strength, and footwork well. At the plate, he sets up with medium base and square stance. Deep load creates slight arm barred launch position but the strength in the hands and leverage in the swing is evident at impact. Approach works well through the middle of the yard. Loft will increasingly play as he continues to add strength and size. On the mound, he works with a sound delivery that he repeats well to get on top of his low 80's fastball frequently. Drops the arm slot a touch on the breaking ball but gets best spin and shape when on top. The offering featured quality sweeping action. Projection stands out. 7.77 60-yard. Named to the 2023 13u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
