2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Marco Cundari is a 2023 C with a 5-10 194 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Saint Peter’s Boys High School. Compact, medium frame with square shoulders and strength throughout. Primary catcher that received from a higher, side-saddled stance with softness to his hands and fairly quick, direct midline transfer. Gains ground out of the crouch with slightly offline direction, while working into a slightly elongated throwing process. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph from behind the plate during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly crouched, even base with a tight hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics into launch and exhibits some compact hand speed. Middle-of-the field approach with some feel for the barrel and burgeoning gap-to-gap power potential. Repeats well and translates his swing well into game action, will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments on both siders of the baseball. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
