Joseph Rondinella is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-8 137 lb. frame from Holbrook, NY who attends Sachem East. Works from a medium compact frame with longer limbs and some physical upside. Primary left-handed pitcher, starts from the middle of the rubber and utilizes a balanced full wind-up delivery, releases from a high three-quarters slot, the mechanics are a bit stiff. Located the fastball consistently on the outer-half of the plate, showed some natural cut and topped out at 73 mph. Mixed in a slower looping curveball as well as a changeup that killed spin effectively and disrupted hitters’ timing. Secondary first baseman, got the glove down on-time and made decent turns, arm action is a bit lengthy and segmented, releases from a high three-quarters slot, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts with an open base, utilizes a hover trigger and flat hand path. Has a fairly consistent barrel, produced several line drives to the pull-side and middle of the field, projects for more power with added strength, recorded an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 7.26 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
