Myles Sorn is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Milford, MI who attends West Bloomfield. Long and slender athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Two-way prospect who is a primary right handed pitcher. Works from a high leg raise delivery with a long stride down the mound, drop and drive mechanics with some effort at release, will throw in hesitations at times. Fastball topped out at 85 mph early and worked mostly in the low 80's, is aggressive attacking hitters with his fastball, gets very good running life at times. Change up was a very good pitch for him, full arm speed and diving action, can throw this pitch more often. Slider was short and mostly flat, more like a soft cutter. Good bet to keep improving on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance with good lower half shift into the ball, has a short and strong swing and stays inside the ball well, creates some barrel whip and impact, very consistent timing with barrel accuracy and barreled up everything in the games. 7.32 runner in the sixty. Corner infielder on defense, has nice soft hands fielding the ball and gets it down early, lowers his slot well throwing, showed body control charging the ball, solid third base tools and actions overall. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
