Tyler Humphrey is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Washington, IL, who attends Washington Comm. A medium frame with a slightly lean build. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with open feet to start, working out of a wider base with throws accurately in the air to the bag. Some quickness to the release with some great accuracy to the bag. Good footwork thru it and showing an ability to gain momentum. Threw 74 mph down to second while producing a 2.01 pop time. A right-handed hitter with slightly open feet, working from an even base. He starts with the hands set high and a high back elbow. Direct path to it with good hand speed. Maintains control of the barrel and produces some great contact to the middle of the field during his round of BP. Produced an 88 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the field as a right-handed pitcher. Had a belt-high leg lift with drop and drive mechanics working down the slope. Had a higher three-quarters arm slot with good arm strength. His fastball reached into the low-80s with some arm-side run. He also showed a change-up with some late drop with good separation velocity-wise from the fastball. Got outs during his chance on the mound. Great student. Named to 2023 National Indoor (Saturday) Showcase TP List.
