Christopher Ahrens is a 2025 OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Medford, NJ who attends Shawnee. Ahrens worked from a younger athletic build with plenty of room and time to add on and fill out in the future. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he showcased good arm speed with an aggressive approach through the baseball, ultimately topping out at 83 mph. Ahrens displayed quick consistent transfers and can be considered high effort, using the frame to the full potential. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a high back elbow and loose free hands that effectively fired through the zone and got the barrel out in front to produce impact to the middle of the field. He flashed the ability to create some loud contact and carry with power only increasing as the physicality develops in the frame. Posted an exit velo of 88 mph. Ran a 7.22 sixty yard dash. Great student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
