2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Trey Lawrence is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Palmetto, FL who attends Palmetto. Excellent projectable tall frame, lean current build and time to add muscle mass. Primary position IF, showing tremendous feel for angles and speed of the game on the clay. Good foot work and initial step with hop to his actions. Glove is there, with smooth actions and presents it out front securing the ball with ease. Clean transfer to the midline with appropriate arm action and impressive strength getting throws up to 88 mph across the field. Made the slow roller play with his bare hand, really high level play. RHH working from a wide base and starting in line with a small controlled stride. There is looseness to his actions, displaying fast hands and real bat to ball skills. Was able to manipulate the bat head and find the barrel even when not perfectly on time. Tremendous foundation to the entirety of his game with unlimited potential, now it's just about adding strength to the frame and getting repetition. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
