Nathan Newkirk is a 2025 IF/RHP, OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Statesboro, GA who attends Southeast Bulloch. he ran a 7.65 second sixty. A primary middle infielder with a medium build. On the infield he showed young actions with the glove and developing arm strength on his accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound he starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift, rocks back at the top of the leg lift onto his back leg, he stays tall on his back side as he drives down the mound maintaing a good line to the plate, the fastball sat 65-68 mph and could see a velocity jump with consistenty in the timing of the arm, also landed a breaking ball in the mid 50's with some regularity. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a toe tap trigger and heel turn load to time up his full bat path with with good hands speed through the hitting zone. Excellent student.
