At first base he waits back on the baseball fielding the baseball deep as he try's to gain momentum into the longer throws with developing arm strength. On the mound he worked with a slide step and quicker arm stroke through the back with a short action up to a three-quarters arm slot, He does a nice job staying on line with the fastball sitting 60-65 mph. Left-handed hitter, the bat path works short to the inside part of the ball as the hips get cleared early and he works the ball mostly to the opposite field. the bat speed and punch at the point of contact will continue to improve as he fills out more.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
