Tyler McCullough is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Sicklerville, NJ who attends Gloucester Catholic. Tall frame with lean muscularity and really nice projection long term. Primary position IF, playing well in his legs and sticking nose on the ball. Foot work shows some twitch and good first step angles. Clean and deliberate midline transfer into lower arm angle creating throws across the diamond up to 76 mph. Secondary RHP, working from 1B side of rubber, medium leg lift and very linear at balance point. Hand separation at the chest into deep arm path and carves the ball into the zone. Works around front side a bit but gets to consistent release. FB up to 74 mph with sinking type action and softer SL in the low-60's that needs some firmness. RHH working from an even base and upright stance. High back elbow, tight hands and rotational mechanics. Consistent hard contact when inside the ball and getting some good lift at times with direct path. Outstanding student with some two-way potential on the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
