Owen Robinson is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Minnetrista, MN who attends 276 Minnetonka Hs Is. Recorded a 7.85 second 60 yard dash time. Extra long and lean frame with plenty of room to fill, exciting physical projection. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long arm stroke, creates good plane from high slot. Leans back and fires, finishes over the front side well and shows good balance for his length. Slower curveball at 61 mph, also flashed a changeup that plays well from the slot. Filled up the zone and created some deception in the delivery, great chance to improve with added strength. Secondary first baseman and infielder, keeps the feet moving and stays tall throughout. Fields out in front with a higher funnel, developing range and footwork. Right-handed hitter with a flexed knees stance and no stride timing mechanism. Drops the hands to load, gets on plane well and shows a longer swing path. Made consistent contact, will improve impact potential as he grows and gets stronger. Great student.
