Tanner Carlson is a 2022 C/3B, OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lake In The Hills, IL who attends Harry D Jacobs. Recorded a 7.70 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and compact build with present strength. Primary catcher with an even set up, gains good ground on his footwork. Stiff and segmented actions overall, loads the arm deep and has a hitch in his throwing motion, throws from the ear. Has some quickness out of the crouch, tends to stand straight up to throw rather than staying low throughout the process. Repeats the operation well and made accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter with a narrow stance and a pick-it-up and put-it-down leg lift trigger. Rotation swing with an inside-out bat path, has some jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Has limited weight behind his swing, will improve impact potential as he loads into the back hip and uses his strength more effectively. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
