Trent Hartman is a 2024 C/3B, MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Indian Hill. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Hits from open-based stance with leg lift trigger, stays committed to the middle of the field, creates leverage, can drive the ball pull-side as well as loft it in that direction, solid offensive tools. Primary catcher, flexible in hips, quick transfer, gets out of crouch well with quick feet, very quick release with solid arm strength, threw it well in drills as well as in game. Showed solid defensive tools on the left side as well, hands work well, shows range to both sides, solid arm strength across, good defender in a couple spots. Excellent student, named to 2022 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
