Zander Smith is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 179 lb. frame from Paducah, KY who attends McCracken County. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a busy hand and body load, can simplify his approach for more consistent timing, flashed bat speed and power potential with a middle of the field gap to gap approach, lots of offensive potential with adjustments and physical maturity. 7.70 runner in the sixty. Showed nice defensive actions at first base defensively with good hands and clean footwork, is also plenty athletic enough to play corner outfield. Took a turn on the mound and has some potential there as well. Has a full delivery that is fluid and easy, arm works well out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with nice life, also threw a nice curveball with tight spin, had a quick inning of strikes. Projectable young player. Good student. Named to the Memphis Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
