Abdiel Gonzalez is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends IDN. Shorter height with a proportioned frame with a good build to add strength. Ran a 7.08 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, waits back and reads hops before working through and using two hands to funnel. Over the top release and gets out front on throws. A left-handed hitter, starts balanced with the base using a toe tap trigger. Higher hand set and stays on top with a short path to the ball, consistent to launch and good bat to ball skills. A secondary pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch. Submarine arm action with fade to the fastball. Good student.
