Cooper Dye is a 2025 C/RHP with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Rouse. Very young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a hanging front leg load, hands driven swing with an up the middle approach, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 8.54 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, plays with lots of energy, will need to improve his lower half flexibility and learn to set up lower receiving pitches, aggressive throwing the ball and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Also played infield and outfield. Took a turn on the mound, short stride out front with an over the top arm action. Threw strikes with a mid-60's fastball and mid-50's curveball and had a quick inning.
