Joseph Rasmussen is a 2024 SS/RHP, C with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Monument, CO who attends Lewis-Palmer. Lean slender build with plenty of room to add more as he gets older. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary middle infielder, moved decent laterally, at times has a tendency to move to fast, when he learns to slow his actions down he has potential to be a good middle infielder. Also worked out in the outfield, aggressively came to the ball well, made the plays with a soft transition and fringy accurate throws. Was clocked up to 79 mph on throws from the outfield. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 74-76 mph paired with a soft breaking curveball at 69 mph. At the plate, hits from a slightly open stance with a leg kick trigger. Has a gentle long swing with a downward hand path generating a lot of ground balls to his pull side. Good student.
