2022 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Nick Walker is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Bellmore, NY who attends Wellington C Mepham. Recorded a 5.53 second forty-yard dash time. Large, well-proportioned frame with strength throughout. Primary third baseman with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Incorporates clean funnel out in front to field, while showing some range and athleticism to either side. Works slightly uphill into release and recorded online, accurate throws up to 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even stance with a high, tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates hanging leg lift for timing and uses rotational lower half movements to get going. Hands driven swing with developing bat-to-ball skills and occasional line drive impact. Flashed gap-to-gap power potential when on-time and in-sync, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and steadying of his head during his swing. Strong, physical prospect that will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and refinement of his tools. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
