Aaron Ariza is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Bogota, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Medium, slender frame with long limbs and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.49 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a developing defensive skill set. Receives from a side-saddled stance, gains ground towards his target and displays a quick mid-line transfer. Recorded developing arm strength up to 67 mph from behind the plate during drills and will continue to improve with minor refinements mechanically. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, even base with a pre-set hand load and small hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to generate bat speed, displayed developing feel for the barrel and best impact to the opposite field. Slightly elongated swing path with occasional lift, will continue to improve with further involvement with his lower half and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
