Anthony Koval is a 2024 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Features a medium build with some strength present. Ran a 7.41 60-yard. Primary infielder. Utilizes a patient approach with decent hands. Struggles to get body in the proper fielding position at times. Flashed some range moving glove side. Utilizes a long, over the top release. More arm strength should come as frame matures. RIght-handed hitter. Features a balanced stance with feet square and hands out in front of body. Dramatic hand and weight shift to the backside during load. Swings with intent. Flashed some bat speed. Has the ability to drive the ball in the air. Continuing to develop barrel accuracy will allow for more power. Also threw on the mound. Utilize a tall and fall delivery. Crossfire land adds some deceptions. Slightly hinders ability to repeat. Uses a short arm action into an overhead slot. Fairly loose arm. The fastball sat 70-73 mph and paired with an upper-50’s curveball that showed decent shape and some bite. Still refining consistency and command of both offerings. Continuing to develop mechanics further should help.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
