Aidan Bergholc is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Holmes, NY who attends Kennedy Catholic. Recorded a 5.05 second forty-yard dash time. Larger, square shouldered frame with some present lower half strength and room to fill out. Primary third baseman with deliberate pace to his actions during the fielding process. Exhibits a deeper funnel to field, some range to either side and the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Corner infielder profile with some arm strength and carry across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with a belt high leg lift and good lower half engagement down the slope. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for most of his outing, touching the low-80s on occasion and topped out at 82 mph from a high three quarters arm slot. Proficient strike thrower with heaviness to his fastball, a swing-and-miss slider and promising changeup that flashed good separation from his fastball. Will continue to improve full arsenal as he gains more velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, even base with a high hand set, high back elbow and simple leg lift trigger. Incorporates good lower half engagement upon landing and exhibits tons of quickness to his hands and plenty of present bat speed. Gap-to-Gap approach with line drive swing path, exceptional feel for the barrel and loads of long term power potential. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills, strength at impact and the ability to use the whole field well. Strong, physical overall prospect with some upside remaining on the mound and an impactful offensive profile. Good Student. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
