Caden Martin is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kankakee, IL who attends Bishop Mcnamara. Recorded a 7.01 second 60 yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and wide spread side saddle stance. Hip loads deep and throws uphill, transfer at chest. Stands straight up to throw, will improve by staying low throughout and gaining ground towards second base. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and slightly open stance. Lift and replace trigger, shifts the weight back and doesn't get off it at times. Low and deep hand set, hands stay close to the body. Lands closed on the foot strike, upper body rotational swing, produced some solid contact during the round. Good student.
