Angel Rivera is a 2021 OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Southington, CT who attends Southington High SchooI. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout build. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, extra step moving into release and comes through the ball, online and accurate with throws, will continue to refine footwork, shows carry when on top at release. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Quick and loose hands in swing, creates torque and gets the barrel through the zone. Looks to lift and shows carry off of the barrel, occasionally gets uphill with path, projects with additional lower half utilized in swing. Good student.
