2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Ryan McCabe is a 2026 C/RHP/CIF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Pearl River, NY who attends St. Joseph Regional. As a '26 prospect, McCabe can definitely be considered a physical presence for his age with strength evident throughout the build. Exclusively from his primary spot behind the dish, he worked from a lower slight side saddle set with intent to release quickly and on target down to 2B. As footwork refines and additional ground is gained, expect the 2.14 pop time to further decrease. Offensively, McCabe consistently produced loud barrels both in BP and in game, starting from an even base with an exaggerated high hand set and high back elbow. He got the front foot down early with some toe-tap to the trigger, generating line drive contact with carry to the middle of the field. Posted an exit velo of 86 mph. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
