Anthony Manzi is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 162 lb. frame from Bellerose, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy. Long and lean athletic build, extremely projectable physically. Works from an abbreviated windup with a simple turn and throw start, has a loose and whippy arm action from a 3/4's arm slot with nice extension out front. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with nice heavy life at the plate, has been up to 83 mph at PG tournaments this summer, consistently at the bottom of the zone with his fastball, lots more velocity in there as he gets stronger. Showed good feel for a slurve type breaking ball with short biting action, also mixed in a firm change up. Has an idea how to pitch and really projects well, young arm to watch. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and open stance with a hanging leg raise trigger, rotational swing that gets into his lower half well, has some bat speed and jump, swung the bat well in the games. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Showed his arm strength and athleticism well in the outfield. Good student. Named to the Northeast Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
