Taber Edwards is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Midland, MI who attends Midland. Smaller compact frame. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with developing foot speed, footwork direct to the baseball, efficient lateral movements with developing range, average glove actions and average arm strength on throws across the diamond. Right handed hitter with a crouched stance and leg lift timing. Eye level changes throughout the swing, struggles to get to a consistent hitting position, middle of the field approach with average strength and hand speed in the swing. Showed fastball and curveball out of a high three-quarter arm slot on the mound. Worked exclusively from the stretch with an uptempo delivery, fastball topped at 79 with arm side run and the breaking ball showed tight and consistent spin with 11-5 shape. Was able to change speeds, eye levels, and mix the stuff well. Named to Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List.
