Gavin Settle is a 2024 C/1B, 3B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona. Medium frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.76 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting up in the stance as he receives the baseball out front. Weight quickly moves up and into transfer as he released uphill. Accurate around the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.31 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, narrow and open to start with high hands behind the ear. Strides out as the hands get deep creating bat wrap. Longer path as he stays linear through the zone looking to drive it middle-away. Feel for the barrel and proved he had some pop when he timed it up. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
