2023 Fall Northeast Showcase
Andrew Ferrara is a 2025 C with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Levittown, NY who attends Gen Douglas Macarthur Senior. Ferrara worked exclusively from behind the plate, displaying a side saddle set and direct mid-line transfer with developing arm strength up to 66 mph. He consistently produced throws around the bag, posting a 2.35 pop time that should continue to decrease as additional ground is gained in the footwork. On the offensive end, the right handed hitter started from a wider base with a tight hand set flashing a low effort easy stroke overall with further room to incorporate the lower half. He consistently created contact to the middle of the field, posting an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 7.95 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
