Rory Martinez is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Dobie. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Works from a slow paced full hands over head delivery with a hanging leg raise, gets his hips turned well, arm is loose with good extension out front, lands a bit open with his landing foot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with some late run and sink, plenty more velocity there as he gets stronger. Tends to slow his arm on his curveball and still developing feel for the pitch, flashed a nice change up with hard diving action and good arm speed. Has a chance to mix as he gains repetitions. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound. Left handed hitter at the plate.
