Luke Amezcua is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from St Louis, MO who attends Parkway Central. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Starts with a medium leg lift delivery with a compact high 3/4's arm circle, gets down the mound with good direction and consistency. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with occasional glove side cutting action. Curveball was his go to pitch, tends to slow his arm on the pitch but gets good spin and 12/6 depth in the low 60's and it is effective for him. Flashed a firm change up with slight fading action. Excellent student.
