Lucas Farabaugh is a 2026 C/RHP, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Ottawa, IL who attends Ottawa Township. Recorded a 7.71 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame and thin build with room to fill, plenty of physical development still to come. Primary catcher with a narrow base and a high and side saddle set. Steps way out into the batter's box with his footwork, will improve as he stays directional with the target. Body control will improve as he grows and gets transfer. Showed quick and smooth transfers. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a medium length arm action, comes from a three-quarters slot, shows average flex and developing arm speed/strength. Pitches from the stretch, lands online with good extension and finish to the plate. Passive/low effort delivery overall, utilizes a short leg lift and a small hip turn. Flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape and good sink, looks to be his best pitch at present. Is around the plate with both the fastball and curveball, fills up the zone and works to both sides. Has an idea of how to pitch, will improve with further physical development. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and a low back elbow set, utilizes a knee to elbow load. Shows a contact-oriented swing and swings on a slightly downhill path with developing bat speed. Has inconsistent stride length/direction at times, stays through the ball well enough and had an all fields approach.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
