Nathan Bigelow is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from East Hampton, CT who attends East Hampton. Young, narrow shouldered frame with some present strength to frame and additional room to grow moving forward. Ran an 8.47 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, developing actions working through the ball, full arm action through the back, works on top of throws and shows accuracy across, arm strength and carry will continue to improve. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, leg lift just below belt, gets tall on backside; tight arm action through the back working to a higher three-quarters release point. Works around the zone and kept hitters off balance, worked mostly off of his fastball with occasional sink; flashed a curveball with 12-6 shape at 61 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a higher hand set and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing; limited weight shift through lower half moving into contact. Remains short with swing path, keeps hands inside the ball and shows comfort working to pull side, swings with intent, occasionally gets around the ball at contact, puts the ball in play. Very good student.
