Tison Wren is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe Northwest. Recorded a 7.65 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a long and lanky build that projects. Primary shortstop, has an idea and can make accurate plays on the move. Also threw an inning on the mound. Right-handed pitcher, works from an above the belt leg lift, setting the hips, with drop and drive mechanics. Three- quarter arm slot that stays connected with the delivery and gets on time with the release point. Gets downhill with the delivery. The fastball was upper 70s and plays well and gets a slight downhill plane. Above average strike thrower. Curveball with 11-5 shape and moderate depth. Best secondary was the change-up that he turned over with fading action. Maintained the arm speed and from the same slot as the fastball. Pitch ability and can grow into some actual stuff on the mound. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base with an open stance, and even hands with a low back elbow. Blend of strength and quickness in the swing. Fast hands with a direct path and feel for the barrel. Pull-side approach and put together well connected swing in game. Showed body control and was able to make hard contact with decent carry on the ball. Level bat path. Intriguing young player with a ton of upside and traits to like. Named to the 13U/14U Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
