2021 Fall Connecticut Showcase
Evin Curtiss is a 2023 1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Simsbury, CT who attends Northwest Catholic. Medium, narrow shouldered frame with present strength on frame and additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front, shorter arm action on throws across diamond with quickness, young actions away from the bag, shows accuracy when on top of throws. Left-handed hitter, begins with a tight hand set on back shoulder and a high back elbow with a narrow and tall stance. Shows quickness to hands, occasionally gets to front side early with weight shift. Comfort working to pull side with occasional lift to path, gets the barrel through nicely in swing and flashes carry when squared. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
