2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Branson Killian is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Posted a 7.64 in the 60. Primary LHP with a developing build to progress on and transfer to the mound. He peaked his fastball at 76 with a young curveball offering in the mix showing 12/6 shape that he should start to spin with more effectiveness as he gets use to it. He works uptempo with a quick and compact delivery, arm action is fluid with a high 3/4 slot. Knowledge of the zone will build as his pitchability matures. In the outfield he moves well and showed a fundamental base for the actions. Transfers the arm well and has a good feel for the glove. Left-handed hitter has some looseness in the hands, the swing is smooth with balance throughout. Impact to pull side is promising with the strength gains ahead of him projecting well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
