2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Madelyn Klever is a 2027 OF/2B, from Polk City, IA who attends North Polk. Madelyn is a strong young athlete who showcased her ability to command the outfield and her ability to produce momentum offensively for her team at our Kansas City Combine this past October. In the outfield she does a great job reading the ball well off the bat and getting a good first step to the ball. Does a great job keeping her throws low and on a line to her target and keeps her body moving though her through. Offensively, Madelyn is a stand in left handed power hitter who does a good adjusting to the pitches she gets at the plate. Very good barrel control to the ball and generates good pop to her pull side of the field. As she continues to work on generating power from her lower half she will continue to see how power numbers get better and better. Overall, Madelyn is a very strong athlete who has big upside. I am excited to see this athlete continue to grow within the game and cannot wait to see where the game takes her in the future.
