Jared Brunk is a 2024 MIF/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from La Verne, CA who attends Bonita. Average size athletic frame. Middle infielder with some fundamental footwork working through the baseball, hands fielding it out front with good glove placement, and above average arm strength on throws across the diamond. Average range may be best suited for second or third base. At the plate hit from an upright stance with a high back elbow and simple load timing mechanics. Some strength in the swing, stays under control with a linear bat path and feel for the barrel. Lots of up the middle and opposite field line drives. On the mound showed an athletic delivery with a high three-quarter arm slot. Located the low 80's fastball to both sides of the plate and spun a slider that had late horizontal break. Showed the stuff to get ahead of hitters and set up a solid swing and miss offering that missed some bats in his outing. Promising two-way player. Great student.
