Hamilton Strain is a 2023 OF/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline. He has a good frame with a slender build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Primary outfielder that has good footwork and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a loose arm and throws with a long arm action that creates nice carry on his throws. He made accurate throws to each base. Secondary pitcher that features an above-the-belt leg kick.
He has a long arm action and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot. His fastball has a little bit of cut at times and his curveball has 12-6 shape. His change up has good depth and will cut at times as well. Offensively, he starts in a wide and squatty stance that is slightly open. He has high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing and does a nice job of working through his swing with his lower half to generate pop off the bat. Showed nice power potential when he is on time and makes contact out in front of the plate. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
