JD Harvey is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Seminary, MS who attends Seminary. Athletic young build with some strength and room for plenty more. Primary catcher on defense, has very good arm strength with a short and compact transfer into his throws, repeats his footwork well, was a very good game blocker who stood out with his game energy and skills, has range on pop ups, stood out defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base, swings hard with a power approach, has the strength to drive the ball when he gets extended through contact, heavy barrel contact. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery, upper body heavy delivery, compact catcher's arm action. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, can get more velocity with more lower half usage, fastball is mostly straight. Also threw a slurve type breaking ball, worked quickly and threw strikes with both pitches. Very good student. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
