Dean Craven Jr is a 2026 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Bethlehem Christian Academy. Smaller, athletic build with a good amount of time to continue to add strength. 8.27 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows good range to both sides with solid feel for the leather. Fields the ball out front with longer exchange and a high 3/4 slot. Made accurate throws to the bag with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand and high back elbow set. Has a toe-tap trigger stride, gets the barrel on plane early and a flat path through the zone. Worked mostly to the pull-side in the round, getting extended often. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
